1230 The Women's Company

1230 TWC is a business network for women - http://www.1230.co.uk/. We have about 30 groups in the UK and we welcome any career women, entrepreneurs or women who are thinking about returning to the workplace to come and join a meeting.

We exist to help business women gain more business but we are there too to provide support in every way we can.

On Tuesday 17 March we have our national annual meeting - 1230 Any Other Business? This is being held in the London Borough of Bromley and is sponsored by NatWest. There are some fabulous and inspirational speakers, workshops, plenty of networking opportunities and the day includes lunch and a glass of bubbly.

We also support Ovacome, the charity for ovarian cancer sufferers and their families and on Friday 25 September together with Frank Usher Fashions we are organising a fabulous event at Number One Canary Wharf (the tower with the flashing light!). In 2007 this event was held at The Savoy in The Strand, in 2008 it was in The Gherkin. Both events were amazing so come along and help make 2009 even better!!

In January 1230 TWC launched its franchise. If you are a woman looking for a business opportunity this is a great time to consider a 1230 franchise. Our first franchisees officially start today! 1 March 2009. Karen and Mandy are running groups in Kings Hill, West Malling; Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone. They'd love to see you at a meeting.
